Web videos should act as transformers. Just as Optimus Prime transforms from a car to combat fighting machine, they should transform a visitor into a client with a simple click of the mouse. The video should suck you in and

infect your mind and soul leaving nothing left but the remnants of the video. Sharing a video on your homepage and through other search engines, such as YouTube, is an effective way to promote your business and potentially gain new clients. These videos can tell your company’s story, talk up your products and services, and turn visitors into sales. Put whatever you want in your video, but if you want it to be good then add those things and take out the crap. You want your web video to be attention grabbing, steer them to the right direction, and to also help navigate through the site. Or, your web video can bore them to death with a bunch of fluff and that isn’t going to do anything good for anyone.

First and foremost, think about the message that you want to convey through the web video. Not only should a web video inform, it should also accomplish a number of other things. Do not make the message hard to understand or hidden because then you have FAILED with your web video. Ok, not really but a web video should leave the viewer wanting more, not wanting less. The video should give just the right amount of information to leave the viewer hungry to find out more about the services, contact information, or anything else. It should not overload the viewer with too much busyness. Nobody wants to bite off more than they can chew.

Using humor in the web video doesn’t hurt either. It can often help the recall rate of the information that is presented through the web video which helps with communication of the video. Humor can be used however you wish, but be sure to keep it within an appropriate time limit. Be it a dancing/two stepping cat, some hot models, or babies…whatever. Make it work and make it personal, relatable, and funny. The more engaging the material is, the better. Whether or not a sale is completed, the video should be able to perform successfully and generate traffic to the site. A web videos success can be measured by how many visitors are entering into the site, how many times the video has been redistributed, and of course how many leads are generated. If you are clueless about all areas

of video production, sit your butt in a chair, get on the internet and search some videos. Grab your popcorn and a six pack and watch a few.

That is the ultimate goal of a high quality web video and it can be reached…if done correctly. As stated above, the web video should be able to convey the message clearly and concisely. The video should implement all of the necessary points of your business along with the right contact information. Construct the video to where the viewer knows what they are watching and not sitting there wondering what the hell is going on the whole time. You do not want them to be in the dark…mentally and literally. The video should be visually pleasing by having various visuals, graphics, and even charts to demonstrate how business is conducted and how the services work. Throw some pretty faces into the video to give it some umph and to keep the viewer’s eyes on the video. Bottom line, make it interesting, relatable, and smart. No one wants to watch a boring ass video.

Make sure that the contact information is also clear and noticeable upon viewing the web video. In order to complete the call to action, the viewers need to be aware of how to contact the right individual about the company’s services. It would be beneficial to have the information big and bolded, not in the fine print where no one can read it.

It has been shown that a website has ten seconds to grab a hold of the viewers’ attention. Chances are that the visitor will not return to the site if those ten seconds does not get the job done. Therefore, capturing the viewers’ attention and keeping it is key. Producing a high quality web video is the way to capture the viewers’ attention, especially those crucial ten seconds. Toss in some crazy shit into the mix to keep it interesting.

If you are looking to add a web video to your Internet marketing arsenal, there is something you should know before diving into the deep end; nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing is more important than the script. Not fancy animation, not super high-energy music, not even a smoking hot blond in a skimpy bikini. Regardless of how complex or intricate the video may be, composing a powerful script is absolutely crucial to the success of any sales video. It’s all about the message!
In this article, I am giving you the blueprint to writing the perfect script that sells. This script formula is designed to increase conversions (visitors to leads), or sell your product or service right from the Internet.

The script should be broken down to three specific parts:

The Hook

The Features, Advantages and Benefits

The Call-To-Action

1.The hook is designed to get the viewers attention immediately, and to get them excited about watching the rest of the video. Since you typically have only 8-10 seconds to get your viewers attention, your hook must be well crafted, straight to the point, specifically targeting your audience, and it should take 8-10 seconds to deliver. The hook should relay what the video is about, what it is covering, and some point that says “oh yeah – I gotta watch this!”

2.	The Features, Advantages and Benefits will be the bulk of the commercial and the meat of the script.

First, make a list of the most important Features that your product or service offers. Think from the perspective of your audience needs. Let’s use a smart phone as an example. One feature that all smart-phones have is a built-in camera. That’s a feature – okay – so what?

What are the advantages of the built-in camera? Well, it’s a 16 megapixel, with all new optics, performs well in low-light conditions, it has facial recognition, and record video in high-definition. Great! But what does that mean to viewer. What’s the real benefit?

The benefit is; never miss another important moment in your child’s life. Apple’s genius benefit was saying “The most incredible camera on the planet, is the one in your hand, when you need it the most. Brilliant! Everyone can relate to that. What 3 items does every person remember before leaving his or her house? Car keys, wallet, and cell phone.

3.	The last part of your web video script is going to be the call to action. This is one of the things that most people say “duh”, but almost always get wrong. There are as many effective ways to use a call-to-action, and “call 214-555-5555” is NOT one of them. You most definitely have to tell people what to do next, but it cannot be done in a pitchy way. “Call today” means call me so I can put hard-close on you” and nobody like that. Be creative! Be helpful! If you call-to-action sounds like a sales-pitch, I guarantee failure. “If you have any questions at all, or need help with any of the features or customization, give us a call. We are to make sure you love your new smart-phone. We will even transfer all your data from your old phone, to your new phone.”

If there is one thing businesses should seriously look into, it is the use of a professionally produced video that can be placed on the company’s website. Nothing brings in more revenue then using web videos as a marketing tactic. Not pop-up ads, not email blasts, or even sponsored links. Web videos have proven themselves to dramatically increase web traffic, conversion, and sales.

Internet videos are taking over the web and viewers are definitely more likely to watch a video as opposed to reading lengthy paragraphs of text on a site. Web videos are a great way to introduce your product, the company, and to connect with visitors.

While a Do-It-Yourself video project might sound cost effective, there are many factors that go into the production of a video. A professional video production includes writing a skillfully crafted script that is designed to generate leads and/or introduce viewers to the products and services the company offers. The use of a professional actor or spokesperson is critical in the delivery of the presentation and should be looked at as the spokesperson of the company. Poor sound quality will quickly kill the production value of any video. Professional lavalieres and boom mics are essential to any professional sound recording. Finally, the top-notch skills of a professional post production artist will take the video, sound, images, music and text, and combine them into highly professional, and stylized selling machine. DIY videos will always lack professional look and quality. For viewers to take the message seriously, cost effectiveness should not come before professional presentation. Here are some benefits to hiring a professional video production company.

Benefits of using a video production company:

Businesses should use a professional video production company to produce their videos because of the high quality and professional finish of the end product. It comes down to how you want to represent your company. Do you want a professional quality video or a shaky, amateur-esque video to showcase your product or business?

Videos are great because there is nothing that makes more money then online videos. They are concise, clear, and highly engaging. Video production companies should have professional equipment to produce a high quality video for your site. These companies are equipped with all the right gear to get the job done right.

A professional video production company should assist you from beginning to end. For example, it cannot be stressed enough how important the script is. Any professional will tell you, that without a good script you will not be table to tap into the potential of a marketing video. Regardless whether the script is introducing a company or selling a product, it is highly recommended to have the script professionally constructed. If you have no experience writing an effective and persuasive script, then you shouldn’t. A pitchy or unorganized script can ruin even the most visually stimulating of videos, which would result in a waste of money. Script writing in itself is an art. The production company can help you tailor the script to fit the length of the video and still be able to get the message across effectively.

The company will also walk you through the actual production process. Some people fail to realize how much work actually goes into producing videos [depending on how intricate the video is, of course]. These professionals will guide you through every step from, as we say, “script to screen”.

Web videos have the capability of re-engaging visitors and giving them a more personal experience that would not be achieved with pictures or plain text. Production companies should have the capabilities of producing a killer video as well as knowing how to add great animation and graphics. Videos must be produced and marketed correctly in order to generate results. The benefits boil down to producing a video and doing it the right way in order to get the results you want. Cutting corners is not an option.
